The Minutes of the last Grand Committee held the 2d. day
of March last were read and confirmed

Lease to Tho Wallis
Hawkins< no role >

Agreed
To grant a lease to Mr ThoWallis Hawkins< no role > Stationer of
the house in the High Street in the Borough in his own occupation
for a term of 21 Years from Mid Summer 1788 at the Present rent of
£30 P Annm dear of the Landtax and all other deductions Mr
Hawkins to expend £25. at least in repairs within the first two
Years of the Term to keep the premises into repair during the term
and to insure at £400

Agreed
To grant a lease to Mr. George Hughes< no role > of security pieces of
load at Hackney marked in the Hospital Great Plan No 31
37, 37, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, with the addition of the part of
the last number purchased of Mr. Hammond 45, 46, 47, & 48,
with the lease fronting the read upon part of No. 37 the whole-
at Present in lease to Mr Biggs at £25.10. P Annm. in which will
expire at Christmas next for a term of 21 Years from that time
at a rent of £63. P Annm clear of the Landtax and all
other deductions Mr. Hughes to keep the Premises in repair and
to insure at £300

Bumpstead on Essex one years rent in consideration of the great
[..] he has incurred on repairing the Buildings and otherwise
Putting his form into order the Buildings being in a very ruinous
State and the lands greatly improve shed by the neglect and
Immanagement of the former Tenant at the time Mr. Sandle
entered upon it.
