The Minutes of the Grand Committee held
the 30th. day of July last were read and confirmed

Leonard to Mr.
Wm. Tagell< no role >


Agreed
To grant a lease to William Tagell< no role > of Harlow in
Essex of the farm at Great Parndon at present in the
occupation of William Baynham< no role > together with a small
Coppice at present part of the Cock from containing
2 roods and thirty two perches for a term of 21 years to
commence from Michaelmas next at a rent of £40. P Ann
clear of the Landtax and all other taxes and deductions
Mr. Tagell to be allowed the first year rent in consideration
of the bad state of the land, the Hospital to put the buildings
into repair under the inspection of the Hospital Agent and
Mr. Tagell to keep them so during the term.

Agreed
To grant a Lease to Thomas Jackson< no role > of Great Parndon
of Tailferes, the Cock and Jennings's farms late in the
New patron of Thomas Milward< no role > (except the Cock Alehouse and seven
acres added thereto and the Coppice added to Fagells farm ) for a
term of 11 years from Michaelmas next which is the unexpired
term of the Lease of Gilbert Parish< no role > 's from called Sumnors
adjoining, at a Rent of £65. P Ann. clear of the Landtax and
all other taxes and deductions the Hospital to repair the Great
Barr upon Taylferes farm and Mr. Jackson to keep it in
repair and also at his our expence to put into and keep the
dwelling house in Repair

Mr. Polhill's reported to

Mr. Polhill having applied to the Committee for liberty
to break into the Hospital Wall from his Counting house
for the purpose of making a Repository or safe against Fire
the Committee having heard Mr. Jupp the Hospital Surveyor's
report well unanimously of opinion that Mr. Polhill's request
could not be complied with.
