The Minutes of the last Grand Committee
held the 21st. Febry: lat were read & confirmed

Mr Treasurer reported from the Committee
for viewing the Houses in Pater Noster Row That
it was their Opinion that the same should be
Advertised to be Lett upon a Building Lease
for 51 years And the Grand Comittee being of
the same Opinion

Ordered that the said Houses be Adver
tised Accordingly

Barratty< no role > & Edmund
Lardner< no role >

Agreed to Grant at Lease to Mr John
Barratty< no role > & Edmund Lardner< no role > of the House
they now hold of the Hospital as Tenants at Will
& the second House Northward from the Hospital
Foregate now in Lease to George Pollard< no role > which
will expire at Lady day 1745 for the Term of
15 Years at the Rent of £87 P Ann clear of
Taxes The Hospital to put Mr Barrattys
House into Repair & Rebuild the other House
the Lease to commence when the Building is
Compleated & to contain usual Covenants & parti
cularly to restrain the Tenant from letting the
promisses to a Brazier Fallow Chandler a
Distiller or other Noisom Trade

Annuities to be
purchased

Resolved that Mr Treasurer be desired to
Purchase £5000 in the Three per Cent Annuities
for the year 1744 with the money of this Hospital
now in his hands or tha may come into his hands
& that the same be purchased in the names of the
Resident & Treasurer for the use of the Hospital
