The Minutes of the last Grand Committee
held the 22d Novemr were read & confirmed

The Committee reced several Proposals for
Granting a Lease of the Demesnes of Alveth:
ley Manner in the County of Essex now in
Lease to Mrs Elizabeth Collyer< no role > , and the same
were taken into consideration and Mr. James
Collyer< no role > her son attending on behalf of his
Mother.

Agreed to Grant a Lease of the said
Estate to the said Mrs Elizabeth Collyer< no role > for
21 Years from Michas 1745, at a Fine of £1800,
& the rent of £100 P Ann clear of Taxes, the
said Mrs. Collyer, to be obliged to lay out £700
in Repairs & laying the Slice a new from the
foundation within two years from the Comencemson
of the Lease, But if the sum of £ 700 shall not
be necessary to be laid out in the Judgment of
a Sub Committee to be appointed for that purpose
so much as shall be laid out less than that sum
shall be paid to the Hospital as an increase of
the FineThe said Fine of £1800 to be
paid in ye following manner (Vizt.) £600 on sealing
ye Contract, £600 more at Xmas 1744 & the remai:
ning £600 at the comencemt: of the Lease

Grant to
Elizabeth Collyer< no role >

The Lease to contain the like Covenants as in ye
former Lease, a Clause to be incerted in the Lease
reserving a Power in the Hospital to determine any
difference that may happen between the said
& Mr Collyer & Mr Barrett touching the use of the
Sluice belonging to the sd: Estate

& Gave 5 Guineas to the Poors Box,
