Committee held 7th. Novr. 1738 were read
and approved.

Mr. Treasurer acquainted this
Committee that Edward Dangerfield< no role > the
Clerk of this Parish of St Thomas was
dead who had been Clerk 54 years And
the right of nominating a parish Clerk being
in the Governors of this House this Comee
resolved to proceed to appoint a Person who
should officiate as Clerk of this Parish
during the pleasure of the Grand Comittee
