Grand Committee
Wednesday 27th. Sepr. 1738

The Minutes of the last Grand Committee
held the 19th. July last were read & approved.

Mr. Treasurer acquainted the Committee
that the life of Thomas Malyn< no role > Esqr . was in a
Copyhold Estate in Cambridgeshire devised
to this Hospital & other Charities by the late
Dr . Daniel Williams< no role > And Mr. Melyn being
deced the Governors of the London Workhouse
who have an Interest in the Charity are
desirous that the said Estate may be taken
upon the Life of Mr. Edward Ironside

Proposal to put in a Life
on the Eltisley Estate

That the said Proposable agreed
to and Mr. Treasurer is desired to acquaint
the said Governors therewith

Mrs. Yates request.

Mrs. Yate widow of Wm. Yate< no role > Esqr .
who holds a House in Cannon Street for her
Life the Reversion whereof was devised to
this Hospital by Richard Minshul< no role > Esqr .
deced attended & prayed that the Hospital
would joyn with her in granting a Lease
of the said House

It is agreed that the
Hospital dejoyn in such Lease, of the said
House and Mr. Treasurer shall thereof proper.
