Proposals of Several persons for building
the Eight Houses intended in St. Thos. Street
were presented to this Committee Seald up
and being opened. It appear'd that Mr

severaly proposed to undertake the
said work at the Several rates in their
proposals mentioned
and the proposal made by Mr. Lawrence

Carpententer being to do the said work
at £1280 was found to be the lowest
whereupon he was call'd in and after
discoursing him thereon in the presence
of Mr. Danson the Surveyer the said
proposal was read to him and he Agreed
to
