undertenmts. at Tibshelfe Attended and Complained
that Actions at Law have been Prosecuted agt.
him by James Townsend< no role > and John Adlington< no role > two
of the Hospitals Tennts. and by One Richard Waslam< no role >
an Undertennt . there for distraining their goods for
a Poors levy which he as overseer was obliged
to do by a Warrant And that he has been put to
very great expence and is threatned to be ruined
by Suits and desired the Grand Committee would
please to interpose their good Offices to prevent
further suits and to procure him a reasonable
Contribution from the Tennts. towards his great-
expences.

Ordered that the Clerk do write to Mr. Thomas
Richardson
< no role > at Tibshelfe to recommend the said
Mr. Bingham's case to the Hospitals Tennts. in that
parish

at Midsumer and to be paid 20. Guineas toward
repairs and they are to procure Astle to Surrender

Judgmt in Ejectmt
for ye house late Ushers


The Clerk acquainted this Committee that he
had according to the direction of a former
Committee brought an Ejectmt. and obtained
Judgment thereon for recovering the Possession
of the Toft at Wapping whereon the House late
Ushers Stood

The Clerk having wrote a Letter to Mr Richardson
of Tibshelfe the same was now read & approved

Wardens of St Thomas
parish }


A Petition of the Church wardens of St Thomas
parish was read Praying the Parish may be
restored to their antient advantages of the
Burying Ground and Vault or to give them
such other Reliefe as this Committee shall think
proper in regard to the great prejudices the
Parishoners have suffered by the demolition
of Houses for Building Mr. Guy's Hospital and
the New Buildings belonging to this Hospital

The Church wardens were called in and heard
