Major Charles Kepling Agrees to Take A Lease of [..]
House now in his own Possession for 21. Years from
Michas next At the Yearly Rent of £18. Payable Quar [..]
Tax free at the Hospl. He is to put the said House into [..]
Good Repair at his own Charge and so to keep the same
during the said Terme He is to Answer to the Hospital [..]
Yearly Rent of £20. to Michas next from the time of the
payment of his last Rent

He Gave 10s.6d. to the Poors Box.

Mr. Thorpe Proposed £15. P Ann for the House in
Mr Askews Possession Tax Free for a Lease of 21. Year
and to put the House into Good Repaire, and so keep it
which was not thought sufficient

Mr Askew having Given Warning to Leave the said
House at Michas next And the Committee Observing
that he has Suffered the House to Go out of Repaire and
being informed That he Letts the same out to a Great
Number of Jumates. They thought fit to insist on his
Leaving the House according to his Warning.

Report Attended this Comittee And Agreed
to take & Lease of the House now in her
Possession in Wapping for 21: years.

Ellestre Estate.


Ordered that this Hospitall do Joyce with the
London Workhouse and the Temsons for Life of
the Estate at Ellestre in Cambridgeshire (the
Revertion whereof is Given to this Hospital and
the said Workhouse by Dr. Williams Deceed) in
Letting a Lease of the said Estate upon the best
Termes that can reasonably be had for the same.
