had Viewed the Feild in Hackney
neare the Bowling Green House
, & over against
the Feild, in which the Meeting House Stands
A Lease whereof was lately proposed, to be
Taken by Mr. Finch, at £5:5s: P Ann: Tax
Free with the Liberty to Digg & Carry away
Gravell paying after the Rate of £30: P
Acre, for Every Acre which should be Digged,
at the time of his Beginning to Digg the same
He proposed to begin with Half an Acre of
the sd Feild to be Measured from that part of
the sd Feild which has been formerly Dugg for
Gravell and to Extend along the whole Front
of the sd Feild next to the Way or passage
Leading from Morning Lane to the Bowling Green
House, And to pay downe £15: for the sd
Halfe Acre. His proposall was also for
Liberty to Digg the sd part formerly Dugg,
without any Allowance to be made for it, And
to Lay All that shall be Dugg, Even & Levell
That the Gentleman

Sub Comittee for this view now Present, were
of Opinion That it will not be propper to
permitt the sd Feild to be Dugg up for Gravell
Whereupon this Comittee Ordered, That
the sd Proposall should be Rejected, And
that no Liberty shoud be Granted for Digging
Gravell there.
