benefit of the Hospitall.

It is Desired That a Genall Court may be held
on Wednesday the last Day of this Month or Thursday
the first Day of next Month which the President shall
think fitt.

R:

Ordered That Mr Dickenson One of the Surgeons of
this Hospitall be Recommended to the next Genall Court to
be Chosen One of the Surgeons for Cutting for the Stone
in this Hospitall together with Mr Ferne the other
Surgeon for that Operation in the Room of Mr Girle
Deced.

R:

It being found very inconvenient to have the Patients
under the fowle Dissease kept in the Wards within this
Hospitall now Assigned to them And there being a Want
of Bedds for Clean Patients, This Comtee. is of Opinion
That Wards should be built at some Distance from the
Body of the Hospitall where the foule Patients shall be
kept seperate & Distinct from the cleane And a Plan
for A New Building at the South West Corner of the
Burying Ground to be made use of for that purpose was
Laids before this Comtee. & Approved by them And it
is thereupon Ordered That it be Recommended to the next
Genall Court to Give their Directions to this Comtee. to
Build & fitt up the same And to do all Acts necessary to
that end And to make Use of the Present foul Wards
for Clean Patients.

R:

It is the Opinion of this Comtee.. that the Roofs of the
Three Wards in the third Court of this Hospitall & also the
Roofs of the Present fouls Wards should be raised &
made clean Storyes, The Doctors & Surgeons having
often Complained that the Upper Wards there are in the
Winter too Cold & in the sumer, too hott & therefore very
incommodions & prejudiciall to the Patients And that the
same be also recomended to the next Genall Court to Give
their Directions for making these Alterations
