Minutes of the Last Grand Comteeread & approved.

Mr Alnod Denn attended this Comtee. & proposed to Erect
some New buildings upon A peice of Ground Conta abt.
½. an Acre Lying neare the Bowling Greene in Hackney
being part of the Ground held of this Hospital by Mrs. Margt.
Cooke< no role > upon A Lease Expiring at Lady Day 1720:
At the yearly Rent of £6:He Acquainted
the Comtee. That he had Agreed with Mrs: Cooke for
A Lease or Grant of the said Peice of Ground for the
Remr. of her Time And had her Consent That he might
Treat with this Hospitall for A Longer Lease thereof
Whereupon this Comtee: being of Opinion That the Ground
held by the said Mrs Cooke under the said Lease Lye
in a very propper Place for New Buildings.

It was Ordered That Mr: Trear Mr: LLyde Mr. Hellis Mr. Delins Mr. Mitchell
Mr: Gunstone & Mr: Mayo DoveiwView the sd. Ground
And Consider whether that part which is now Desired
by Mr Denn is not so scituated as may be prejudiciall
to further Improvemts. by New Buildings And they
are Desired to Assertaine the Quantity thereof
and Report the same with their Opinion of the
value thereof to the next Comtee. when the said
Mr. Denn is Desired to Attend againe

Seized into the Hospitall Hands for Non paymt. of
Rent & Want of Repaires Proposed to make A
Surrender of the Three Leases of the said houses wherein
abt. Three yeares & ½ are now to Come So as She may
have some Gratuity Allowed her by the Hospitall,
her Husband being beyond sea & she is a very poor
Condicon not able to pay the Amount of Rent or
