Agreed with Wm. Shewin< no role > our Tenant of a Mess: that he
dwells in & Garden & a Small Tenemt. adjoyning in St. Mary
Magdalen Bermondsey parish in the County of Surrey that he
Shall have a new Lease thereof for the terme of one & 30.
yeares from Midsomr. 1697 when the present Lease expires
at the old rent of £15. P ann & for a fine of 4.10.0
which be presently paid & with like Covents. as in the
present Lease.

of his arrears of rent. & if he appeare not to bee Sued at Law.
Consideracon to be had about the house he late lived in
Mr. Deputy Eyre acquainted the Comittee that he had Sevall
times the last moneth viewed the two Coale pitts one in the
Towne of Tibslelfe & the other on the Comon held by Mr Fell &
Mr Feltham by Lease expiring at Michas 1697at the
yearely rent of £20. & that after all the informacon he
could gett he thought it best that a Lease bee made to them
of the Coale pitt in the Towne for 21. yeares from the expiracon
of the said Lease in being at the yearely rent of £20. and that
the house do allow £10. towards the charge of Sinking &
dreyuing a new pitt in the Comon, which if brought to p Seccon
the said Tenants have a Lease of that Pill at the yearely
rent of £15. & the Covents. in either Lease to bee made
agreable to the refervacons & agreemts. in the Tenants Ley [..]
of the lands there with relacon to Coalse pitts.
