We have performed a duty an applying for the Insurance money, but
whether it was unapplied for through the Neglegence of [..] or
whether for same Reason the Lease was withheld the Insurance belongs
to the Hospital it is not easy to as certainIf me [..] comes to
Town this Spring I well ask him of he recollects any they about it.
White Iam writing on the Subject of Insurance I by leave to observe that
an Insurance [..] to have been made on the Daniels Buildings from
Michmas last, & of Mr Bradford of Mr Batty are also to emene from much
next, the Dates of then respective Leases. Your, no doubt, as well
acquainted with the Sute of their several Hornertened, & as you well
six those Tenants in the Course of a Month, well you be so good as to
obtain from their an Account & description of the greately of then dept.
farm Buildings Hallle with their what Sums should be [..] upon
each. If a rough Sketch could be drawn upon a Sheet of Paper of the
manner in which the Buildings stand & whether they are adjunst or [..]
remain havg which as Breech & teled, or Timber of felted, or Breck & thatched, or
Timber & thatched etc etc. It would be satisfactory to the Insurance Office
here, which probably has no Agent in the Neighbourhood to make the
Survey, & when I am in Possession of then descriptions, I can at the
proper Term get the Insurance made & inform you of the Arsment
that you then immediatly receive it of the different Tenants.
Mr Balby has lately applied to the Treasurer for leave to stub up
the Border of Burches or the North side of thorn; meadow. The
Treasurer thinks this matter was mentioned by you when last in
Town, & if proper you well grant Mr Batty the peruke requests
at the same Time you with thank him for a Hare whet the Treasurer

& acquaint him he wall have the pleasure to recict any person
the Committee of the City for the Improvement of saw Hill [..]
may appoint to settle the valunteen of the Houses entereded to
be purchased of St. Thomas Hospital Met as Treasurer
having full powers gave when by the Grand Committee of the
Hospital for that purpose.

The serves merely to acknoweldge the Receipt of your Letter of the
10 Inst, of of a Remittance of £100, which is Linen Cart is to be
placed to your Credit an Acct of the. To be half Colleny.

I have examined the two Colly Accounts for Jany & Feby which
appear right, when the next Movable to Lady day cause made up
you propose sending it & wheley the balance to that Time. [..]
