Sir
I troubled you with a Letter some little while ago
wherein Informed you of the Order of the Grand Commee
relative to the Money they were pleased to Allowyour
Mr. Hancock & your Sister Batlyl towards the Repairs
of theiryourTurm, At the same time I mentioned the
remainder of the Fine due for the Lease as also of
five Guineas the Attorneys Fees for Engrassing it
and was in Expectation of hearing from you about
these several Matters. I have been several times Asked
by Mr. Treasurer whether I had heard or received any
Answer Rents And He is a good deal dissatisfied
that I have not and Considering what the Commee
had lately done for them He did not think that they
would have been so remiss and has really Orderd me
to Write that He does expect they will remit a
considerable part of the Fine the whole of which
should have been paid at Mictras last. You wek
please to acquaint Mr. Battyl & your Sister Hancock
with the Treasurers Sentiments on this Head &
believe me to be

Sir
I can no longer for bear Writing to you relations to the Jane
due to this Hospital upon Granting you a Lean of Helions
Bumpstead the 17 Novr 1756 and which Fine of one hundred
Pounds was to have been paid upon delivery of the Lease
which was on the 22 Aug. 1758. I hope you will immediately
on Receipts of this Remitt the said me as Mr. Treasurer doth
insist on its being paid He Says that you have had all the
Indulgence that You could Wicter Dennie & will not hear of any
further excuse I cannot but think a Mr. treasurer that you containly
have not the least pretence to complain on this Head even if it
should put you to some difficulty as it is now near three years since
it ought to have been Discharged
