J recd. Yor. Letter of the 7th. inst: but have not yet reced
any Money I am order'd to acquaint you that if you are willing to
take the two Farmes at the Rent of £54 exclusive of the Collage
the Gentlemen will be at the Expence of putting the Buildings
into good Repairs and will allow something yearly out of the Rent
for fireing You will let me hear Yr. Answer soon that the
Gentlemen if they do not agree with you may treat with some
other person

Yours of the 24th. & 28th. inst. have been laid before
Mr. Treasurer who has order'd me to acquaint you that he will lay
before the next Commee Mr. Gregory Proposal, which as appears
by Yr. last, is To hold the two Farmes, exclusive of the Collage,
from Laday next at £54 -. a Year, on Condition that the Gent
allow him something towards Fireing and Pull [..] the Farmes
into Repair You are desired to give Yr. Opinion how much
a Year is fit to be allow'd him for Fireing & for how many Years,
And to let Taylor know that unless he pays off his Arrears
of Rent, he must not expect to be continued in the Collage,
but if he disappoints you again in paying one [..] Years Rent very
soon according to his promises, the Gentlemen would have you
send them Notice of it that they may take proper Methods
for recovering the whole by due Course of Law
