To Mr. Joshua Collings< no role > at Parndon
By yors. of the 17th. I see you have sold 8. acres of the Wood
& are endeavouring to sell the remaining 1 acre, & have
mark'd out 12 small Trees that will be no better for stand=
ing, in order to get the most for them, & also that you are
getting in the rents all which is well, & likewise that
Wobllard may take the loose gravel out of his pit. as you think proper

I know not what to say about timber which Arthur Webb< no role >
pretends to claim, I do not remember Webb by name,
be sure if he had lent timber to any body heyoushould have taken
care to have asked for it again of those he lent it to.

Thos. Wollard< no role > payd. Mr. Skingle one years rent
being £7. due Michas 1731. & Wm. Jennings< no role > has a
receit of Skingle's for £10. dated 5th. Janry 1731/2. both which
Sums are placed to Skingle's account because he
did not give the proper notice, when he payd or
return'd the Money. I desire therefore you will
speek to Skingle to pay those sums here, that
the sd. Sums may be placed to Woollards and
Jenning's acco. accordingly, & the Hospl. books
set to rights, because his greatly inconvenience
to stand as they do, & Wollard & Jennings to be made
dilters for more than they owe.
