Mr. Gourley
Mr. Swaine of Haslingleigh has sent notice
that he intends to fall the further Cant of Gillnashwood between
a Michmas & Xmas next. You are therefore desired to take care
of the timber growing, & to mark all such Storers, Wavers, &
Saplings or Tillers, as are proper to be left: he is restrain'd
from cutting above one third part of the underwood in any
one year & is to cutt none under thirteen years growth
or above fifteen. You will send an Accounts Mr
Treasurer as soon as conveniently you can of what is
done.

Sir
The Governors are Setling the Accounts of the
Quit rents paid to their several Mannors and
it being observed that many of your payments
have been by £20 at a time So that an exact
Adjustment can't be be made with respect to
the Arrears due at your entring on the receipt
and consequently it does not appear whether
any arrears have incurr'd Since You are
therefore desired to send a Copy of the Rental
you had from Mr Wright and the Account of the
Arrears as theystandthen Stood and of
