WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Hanwell
in the County o Middlesex
have at this Present Session, Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue
of a certain Order or Pass Warrant unde the Hands and Seals of John Scott< no role >
and N. Conant Esquires
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County
bearing date the Eighth day of February Instant. William Cooper< no role >
and Hannah< no role >
his
Wife and their four Children namely Martha< no role >
Aged Ten Years and upwards who had not gained any other than her Parental Settlement Sarah< no role >
aged Five Years or thereabouts, Thomas< no role >
aged Three Years and upwards and Ann< no role >
aged Twelve Months or thereabouts were removed and conveyed from and out of
the said parish of Ealing
to the said Parish of Hanwell
and the place of the lawful
settlement of them the said William cooper< no role >
Hannah his Wife and their said four
Children whereby the petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved
WHEREUPON at the request of the Petitioners, IT IS ORDERED, That the
benefit of their said Appeal should be saved unto them, and the hearing and determining
thereof be and he same is hereby adjourned until the next General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden for this County: and on notice hereof in the mean time tobe given
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of he said Parish of Ealing
they and all Persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session-House
aforesaid, on Thursday the Nineteenth Day of April next, at the Hour of
Nine in the Forenoon of the same Day, to hear and abide the Judgment and determination
of the Said Court touching the said Appeal.
