MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County () on Monday
in the Week next after the past of the Epiphany to wit
the Ninth Day of January
in the Thirty seventh Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Bleamire
< no role > , John Bond< no role > , David Dean< no role >
Esquires, and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Edmonton in
the said County of Middlesex Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition
and Appeal setting forth That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of John Floud< no role >
and William Brodie< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex Elizabeth Cardiff had been removed from the Parish of Saint Mary Stoke
Newington in the said County of Middlesex by the name of Elizabeth Boards< no role > to the
aforesaid Parish of Edmonton , whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
aggrieved

NOW, upon hearing the said Appeal, in the presence and hearing of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary Stoke Newington
and they consenting by their Counsel to the allowing the said Appeal, IT IS ORDERED,
that the said Appeal be, and the same is hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Jus-
tices is hereby vacated and set aside; and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Edmonton
do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Elizabeth Cardiff
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Mary Stoke Newington who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Elizabeth Cardiff< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law. And IT IS
FURTHER ORDERED, that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Mary Stoke Newington do forthwith pay or cause to
be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Edmonton
the sum of
for their Charges and Expenses in relieving and maintaining the said Elizabeth Cardiff since
her said Removal.
