The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Holy Rhood in the Town
and County of Southampton
Sheweth,
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of the Reverend

Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
bearing date the sevententh day of November One
thousand seven hundred and ninety Six
Sophia Frazher< no role >
Wife of
John Frazher< no role >
now at Sea and her two Children
namely

aged three Years or thereabouts and
Sophia< no role >
aged eight Months or thereabouts were removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint George
in
in the said County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Holy Rhood
aforesaid as the Place of their legal Settlement, whereby
Your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that the
Benefit of their said Appeal may be reserved to
them and that a day may be appointed in the next
general quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the
said County of Middlesex
for the hearing and determining
the said Appeal And that the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint George
be then and there required to attend to hear and abide the
Judgement and Determination of the Court touching
the said Appeal
