The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St.Luke
Chelsea in the said County.
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
under the hands and Seals of
Joseph Morer< no role >
and H. Cosser Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for
the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County aforesaid ( one when of
being of the Quorum) bearing date the Second day of january
1797
Peter Burnett< no role >
was removed and Conveged from
and out of the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster
to the said
County to the said Parish of St. Luke Chelsea
as the Place of the
last Legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves
to be aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal
to this Court against the adjudiction of the said
two Justices and their said Order and pray the
Your Worship will be pleased to Appoint a day
