To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex at
their General Sessions of the Peace assaulted

The Humble Petition and appeal of John
Sampson
< no role > of the Parish of Christ Church in the said
County Seller of Bread

Sheweth


That your Petitioner was convicted on the fifteenth
day of July one thousand seven hundred and ninety six by the
Recerend Henry Reynett< no role > D. D. one of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said County on the complaint of Richard Osman< no role >
for having unlawfully exposed to Sale on the twelfth day of
July last nine Quarter of a Peck leaves of Wheaten bread
deficient in weight Ten three penny loaves of Wheaten bread
deficient in weight One two penny loaf of Wheaten bread
deficient in weight and three three penny leaves of Wheaten
bread deficient in weight according to the Assize set for such
bread and your Petitioner was adjudged to pay and forfeit the
Sum of Seven Pounds ten Shillings for the same

That your Petitioner conceives himself to be aggrievd
by the said Conviction and humbly appeals against the
same

Your Petitioner therefore humbly
prays your Worships to appoint
day to hear and determine the said
appeal

And your Petitioner shall ever
pray Etc
