Eight Inches at the least
The Bricks to be sound hard Stock bricks, well burnt
The Mortar to be compos'd of the best quick Darking
Stone Lime mixd with a due & proper proportion of
clean sharp pit Sand well beaten & temper'd
The Grout to be compos'd of the Lime & Sand aforesaid
The Clay to be of the strong blue Kind & to be well,
closely, & compactly beaten;
The whole of the Work to be Performd in a substantial
very best, & Workman like manner, the external parts
& Soffites, of Arches to be finish'd with a neat flat &
struck Joint
To provide all Scaffolding Shores & every Article necessary
for carrying into Execution the aforesaid Bricklayers
Work the Scaffolding to remain standing for the use
of other Workmen if necessary

Carpenter
To provide & fix all proper & substantial Centering to
be close & truly boarded, Molds, Shores, props, templets
& Wedges, necessary for turning the Arches, to ease from
time to time & strike the Centers as shall be directed;
For all Memell, Riga, Dantzick. Timber used in Tyes
Templets or Bond scarfd, natv'd, dovetaild, or framd
together of such Scantlings as shall be directed
Labor Nails & Spikes included atP foot cubical
For all Timber of the kind aforesaid used in piles or
planking (if found necessary) to be measured neat
after cutting off the [..] uper fluous Ends; of such
scantlings as shall be directed including Labor of
driving & fixing the same atP foot enbical
For ditto if of English Oak atP Do
The Timber that is us'd, & to remain; to be of the
best growth & free of every defect.
