To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in the General
Session of the Peace for the said County Assembled.

The Humble petition and appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the parish of Saint Michael
Crooked lane in the City of London on
behalf of the said parish

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands and seals of
W. Addington and cha Churchchill two of his Majesty's Justices
of the peace in and for the County of Middlesex Made the Wth:
Day of January last for and Concenring the settlement of
Phillis Edgerley< no role > Signlewoman upon the complaint of the
Church wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Saint Paul Covent Gardens within the Liberty of Westminster
in the county of Middlesex It was adjourned That the
Parish of Saint Michael Crooked Lane London was the
place where the said Phillis Eagerly< no role > was last settled And
it was therefore ordered that she should be removed from the
said parish of saint Paul Covent Garden to the said parish
of saint Michael Crooked Lane and delivered to the Church
wardens and Overseer of the poor there who were thereby
required to receive and provide for her according to Law

That in Pursuance of the said Order on the
said 11th: Day of January the said Phillis Eagerly< no role >
was removed and delivered to the Church wardens
and Overseer of the Poor of the said parish of Saint Michael
Crooked Lane Who have ever since provided for her

That Your Petitioners apprehending the
said parish of saint Michael Crooked Lane to be
aggrieved by the said Order Therefore humbley appeal to
