To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of
the Race for the County of Middlesex in their General
Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition of Joseph Ridgway< no role >
of Islington in the County of Middlesex Builder

Sheweth


That by a certain Order in Writing under the
Hands and Seals of William Bleamire< no role > and Aaron Graham< no role >
Esquires Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex bearing date the 19th. day of February
now last Past your Petitioner was Ordered and Appointed to
Pay unto Charles Beagley< no role > of the Parish of Christ Church
Surry the Surveyor and Supervisor appointed under and
by virtue of a certain Set of Parliament made and
Paper in the Fourteenth year of the Reign of his
present Majesty Entitled

"An Act for the Further and better Regulation of
"Buildings and Party Walls and for the more Effectually preventing
"Mischiefs by fire within the Cities of London & Westminster &
"the Liberties thereof and other the Parishes Precincts and
"Places within the Weekly Bills of Mortality the Parishes of
"Saint Mary le Bone Paddington Saint Pancras and
"Saint Luke at Chelsea in the County of Middlesex and
"for Indemnifying under certain Conditions Builders and
"other Persons against the Penalties to which they are or
"may be Liable for Erecting Buildings within the Limits
"aforesaid Contrary to Law" to the Parish of Saint
James and Saint John Clerkenwell in the said County of
Middlesex the Sum of Twenty three Pounds two Shillings
Awardes by them the said Justices to him the said
Charles Beazley< no role > as a Satisfaction for his Trouble and
in Viewing and Surveying Eight certain Buildings
and Six certain Additions to Buildings att of the
