To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Hamlet of Hammersmith in the
[No. 38.] Parish of Fulham in the County of Middlesex and to
R. B. the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish' of High Wycomb
in the the County of Bucks
and to each and every of them.

UPON the Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Hamlet of Hammersmith in the Parish
of Fulham in the County of Middlesex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that Mary Rogers< no role > Widow of
John Rogers< no role > and three of their Children viz. Ann< no role >
aged about seven Years-John< no role > aged about five Years
and Thomas< no role > aged about fifteen Months
did lately come to inhabit in the said Hamlet of Hammersmith
they not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning them to be settled
elsewhere, and that the said Mary Rogers< no role > , Ann, John
and Thomas her Children are become
likely to beChargeable to the said
Hamlet of Hammersmith We the said
Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said Mary Rogers< no role > upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises,
do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the
lawful Settlement of them the said Mary Rogers< no role > ,
Ann, John & Thomas her Children
is in the said Parish of High Wycomb in the said
County of Bucks We do therefore
require you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Hamlet of Hammersmith or some or
one of you to conveythe said or cause to be conveyed
the said Mary Rogers< no role > , Ann, John and Thomas her
Children
from and out of your said Hamlet of Hammersmith
to the said Parish of High Wycomb and them
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof: And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of High Wycomb
to receive and provide for them as Inhabitants of your
Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the Eighteenth
Day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand
Seven hundred and Ninety five.
