To the Chuch-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. James, and Clerkenwell , in the County of
Middlesex ; and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Dunstan in
the West in the County of Middlesex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being
Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex , (One whereof being of the Quo-
rum,) by the Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. James, at, Clerkenwell , in the said Coun-
ty, That Ann Harrison< no role >
lately came to inhabit in the said Parish of St. James at
Clerkenwell , not having gained any legal Settlement
there, no produced any Certificate acknowledge herself
to be settled elsewhere, and she is likely to become
chargeable to the said Parish: We, the said Justices, upon
Exmination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also
adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said

West on the County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by
Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you,
on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said
Ann Harrison< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. James at Clerken-
well , to the said Parish of St: Dunstan in the West
and her deliver to the Curch-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her
according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals this Second
Day of March in the Year of Our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety five.
