MIDDLESEX .


AT the General quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
the County of Middlesex , at the Session-Houses for the said
County,()on Monday
the TwelfthDay of January
in the Thirty FifthYear of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > Frederick
matthew
< no role > , Hammond Crosse< no role > , William Hyde< no role >
Esquires , and other their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHERE AS the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
John at Hackney in the said County of middlesex Did at the General Quarter
Session of the Peace held in and for this County in the month of October last Exhibit
their Petition and Appeal Setting forth That by virtue of an Order of Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Rice davies< no role > and H keynett two of this Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (where of one is of the quorum) bearing date
the 19th. day of September in the Year of our Lord 1794 Mary Cox< no role > Spinster was
removed from the Parish of Edmonton in the said County of Middlesex unto the said
Parish of Saint John at Hackney alledging the said Parish of Saint John at
Hackney to be the place of her last legal Settlement, whereby the Petitioners a
conceived themselves aggrieved, which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session
Now, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses
in and concerning the Premises. It Is ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the
same is hereby dismissed, and that the said Order of the said two Justices be, and the same is
hereby confirmed; And IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint John at Hackney do maintain
and provide for the said Mary Cox< no role > , Spinster
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
