BE IT REMEMBERED. That on the twenty [..]
Day of April in the Years of our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety four Charles Dawns< no role >
was [..] convicted before Me
John Staples< no role > Esqr . One of His Majesty' Justices of the
Peace for the said County of Middlesex of a certain Misdemeanor
(that is to say) for that he she said Charles Daw< no role > [..]
from and after the Twenty-fourth Day of June, One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty-two, (to wit) on the day and
Your first a [..] written at the Parish of Saint Pauls
Shadwell in the said County, had in her possession,
Quantity of raw Sugar weighing eight
pounds
Part of the Cargo of time Ship or Vessel on the
River Thames , which had then lately been Stolen, or unlawfully pro-
cured from, or out of the same
Contrary to the Statute, Etc
By Reason whereofI,the said Justice, did adjudge her in the said
Charles Dawney< no role >
to have forfeited for his said Offence, the Sum of fifty Shillings
(this being his first Offence). GIVEN under my Hand
and Seal, the Day and Year first above written
