Countt Silver

John Hall< no role > of Wapping Wall in the County of
Middlesex Merchant Maketh Oath one Saith That
being bound over to Prosecute the above Defendant for
buttering Counterfeit Silver at the Sessions hold in the
month of May last for the County of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall Clerkenwell Green Deponent through in advertency
and without any design to prevent the Prosecuting of
Defendant or Preserving the Indictment happened to be
absent in the County on Business by which means
the said Indictment against the said Defendant Could
not be Preferred and the Court a Deponent has been
informed and only believes was moved to Street his
Recognizance and to respite those of the other Witnesses
and Defendant was discharged on his own Recognizance
but this Deponent Saith that he has since preferred a
Bill of Indictment against Defendant for the above
office which Indictment was returned by the Guard
Jury a nine Bill but Defendant is not yet in Custody
as Deponent has been informed and vainly believed
