The Inhabitants of the Parish of
Islington for not repairing Duvels
Lane

Adam Broomhead< no role > of Hornsey in the County of
Middlesex Gentleman maketh oath and saith
that he resider at Hornsey aforesaid and that
his Business require almost his Daily attendance
in London and that the nearest and usual land
from Hornsey to that part of London where
he has occasion to attend is all through and
along a certain Lane called or known by the
Name of Duvals Lane and in the Indictment
in this Course mentioned and this Deponent
saith that the said Lane since the finding
the Bile of Indictment in this Cause in part
only has been referred but about fifty
Pole in the appear part of the same and
nearest to Hornsey has not and any repair
whatsoever and which said fifty Pole was
last Winter Cut through to the Clay in ten
or twelve different Places and this Deponent
is fuley of Opinion that before two Months
are expired the same will be impassible
for Carrings and this Deponent also saith
