To the Right Worshipful his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex
in the General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George in the Borough
of Southwark in the County of Surrey

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of C: T: Kerbey and Thos. Gordon< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 18th. day of June 1793 Edward Edwards< no role > and
Jane< no role > his Wife and their three Children namely Elizabeth< no role >
Aged about 10 Years Harriott< no role > aged about 9 Years and Ann< no role >
aged about 7 Years were removed from the Parish of
Kensington in the said County of Middlesex unto the said
Parish of Saint George in the Borough of Southwark in
the said County of Surrey Alledging the said Parish
of Saint George in the Borough of Southwark to be the place
of their last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
Aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order of the said two
Justices do therefore appeal to your Worships therefrom
and humbly pray that you will be pleased to hear
them in the premises and Order that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of
Kensington in the County of Middlesex may
Appear before you at a certain Day to be appointed
to hear and abide the Judgement and Determination
of your Worships touching the Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
