severally make Oath and say and first this
Deponent William Pritchard< no role >
for himself Saith that
in December Sessions now last part the abovenamed
Henry Mills< no role >
the Prosecutor prefered a Bill of Indictment
against this Deponent for an Assault committed upon the
said Henry Mills< no role >
and that upon the said Bill being
found he this Deponent appelied to Mr William Trotter< no role >
of Great Saffron Hill
aforesaid Broker
and Mr William
Milne< no role >
of Ray Street
Clerkenwell
to become Bail
for him this Deponent to the said Indictment who
accordingly entered into a Recognizance fro the Appearance
of him this Deponent at the January Sessions then next
following And this Deponent further saith that in the
said Month of January about three or four Days before
the Commencement of the Session in the said Month
he this Deponent had a Meeting with the said Prosecutor

then agreed that
if he this Deponent would give him the said Henry

five Shillings for the Expence he had been at in

would be satisfied there with and accept the
same as a full Discharge of the said Indictment for
