Richard Phillips< no role > for
Petit Larceny

Richard Phillips< no role > of Play House Yard White [..] Street in the
Parish of Saint Lukes Old Street in the said County
Shoemaker the above named Prosecutor Maketh Oath and
Saith that he Preferred a Bill of Indictment against the
said Defendant in the above Prosecutrix in December
Session last of such Stealing One Pair of Shoes of the
Value of Ten pence his Property Which said Bill was
found true by the Grand Jury And this Deponent
further Saith that he diligently attended this Worshipful
Court for Several day during the saidPresentsaid December Session And
did not hear the said Prosecution called And being
entirely Ignorant of the Practice of this Worshipful Court and
the nature of the business the said Joseph Frances< no role > was
discharged for want of this Deponents Testimony And this
Deponent further saith that he had no Peuni [..] ary View
whatever or did he from any favour of Affection to the
said Joseph Francis< no role > or any Person or person on his
behalf neglect to Prosecute him for the said Offence
and therefore humbly hopes this Honorable Court will be
pleased to Grant an Order for this Deponent to discharge
his recognizance,
