His Majestys Justices of the Peace

Middlesex
at a Special Sessions held at the George Inn
in Enfield
in and for he Hundred of Edmonton
in the said County on the
29th. day of November 1790 having upon view found that a
certain Common Footway within the Parish of Tottenham
in
the said Heundred lying between the Top of White Hart
Lane
in the said Parish of Tottenham
and a field called long
Hedge field for the length of 110 Yards or thereabouts and
particularly described in the Plan hereunto annexed may be
diverted and turned so as to make the same more Commodious
to the Public and having viewed a Course proposed for the
new Footway in lien thereof thro' and along the Lane called
White Hart Lane
aforesaid and up the street called Tottenham
Street
to the said field called Long Hedge field for the Length
of 145 Yards or thereabouts and of the Breadth of three feet
or thereabouts particularly described in the Plan hereunto
annexed We do hereby Order that the said Common Footway
is diverted & turned thro' and along the said Lane called
White Hart Lane
and the said Street called Tottenham Street
aforesaid And we do direct the Surveyor of the Highways for
the said Parish of Tottenham
to proceed to divert and turn such
Footway accordingly by pursuing such Measures & directions in
all respects as are warranted & prescribed by the Statute made
in the 13th. Year of the Reign of His Majesty King George the
Third for the Amendment & preservation of the Highways given under
our hands and Seals this 29th. day of Novr. in the Year of our
Lord 1790.
