King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County
Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers the poor of the Parish of Kensington
in the County of Middlesex
Did at the last General Session of the Peace held in and for this
county Exhibit their Petition and appeal setting forth That by wite of a pass warrant or
Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of Tho. Collins< no role >
and N. conant Esquires
two of
His majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex
bearing date the
2d. day of February 1790 Sarah Stanley< no role >
aged about Twelve Years and Charlotte Stanley< no role >
aged about Seven Years daughters of the late John< no role >
and Elizabeth Stanley< no role >
were removal
from the Hamlet of Hammersmith
in the County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of
Kensington
as the place of their last legal settlement where ly the Petitioners Conceived
themselves aggreived which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this day Now
upon hearing the said Appeal in the presence and hearing and of the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the poor of the said Hamlet of Hammer smith and they consenting by their
counsel to the allowing the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and
the same is hereby allowed and the said Pass Warran or Order of Removal of the said
two Justices is hereby vacated and set a side And it is further Order that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Kensington
do forthwith
convey and deliver back the said Sarah Stanley< no role >
and Charlotte Stanley< no role >
together with our
copy of this Order unto the Churchwarden and Overseers of the the poor of the said Hamlet of
Hammersmith
who are herely required to receive and provide for the said Sarah Stanley< no role >
and Charrotte Stanley until they can free themselves From the charge thereof by due [..]
of Law.
