MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Fifteenth Day of April in the
Thirtieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Phillimore< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , Richard Taylor< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary
Stratford Bow in the County of Middlesex Have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal getting forth That by an Order or Pass Warrant dated the
18th day of January last under the Hands and Seals of Robt Smith< no role > and R: Danies
Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex Phillemore
Wife ofJacob [..] llinger and her two Children namely Lewis Gevaux< no role > aged Twelve Years Elizabeth
Bollinger
< no role > aged about Nine Years were conveyed from the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town in
the Parish of Saint dunstans Stepney in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Mary Stratford Bow as the place of their last legal settlement whereby the Petitioners
conceived themselves aggreved Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard, at the
request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary
Stratford Bow and by the consent of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Hamlet of other End Old Town It is Ordered that so much of the said Appeal as respects
the settlement of the said Lewis Gevaux< no role > be and the same is herely allowed and so much of the
said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two Justices is hereby Vacated and set aside and
It is further Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Mary Stratford< no role > Bow do forth with convey and deliver back the said Lewis Gevaux< no role >
to gether with a Copy of this Order unto the Church wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said Hamlet of Mile End Old town who are herely required to receive and provide for the
said Lewis Gevaux until they can free themselves from the charge there of by due course
of Law and it is Quarter Ordered that so much of the said appeal as respects the
settlement of the said Phillen do Bollinger and Elizabeth Beolinger be and the same is
fhere by admissed and so much of the said order or Pass Warrant of the said two
Justices is hereby confirmed and it s further Ordered that the church wardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary Stratford< no role > Bow do maintain and
provide for the siad Phillen do Bollinger and Elizabeth Bollinger until they can free themselves
from the charge thereof by due coourse of Law.
