MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Mondy the Seventh Day of September in the
Twenty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, ETc. Before William
Mainwarning

Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trepasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of saint John in
the County of Surrey Did at the last General quarter session of the peace held in end for this
County Exhibit their petition and appeal setting forth That by an order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of the Reverand Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet and Charles Friquet< no role > Esquire
two of His Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlesex bearing date
the twenty third day June one thousand seven Hundred and Eight nine Mary
Glazbrooke
< no role > the Wife of Thomas Glazbrooke< no role > Sawyer and their two Children namely
William< no role > aged Four Year and upwards and Mary < no role > aged Six Months or thereabouts us
removed from the parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex aforesaid
to the said parish of Saint John Southwark as the peace where the said Mary and
her two Children were legally settled whereby the Petitioners coveived themselves
aggrieved which said appeal stood duty adjourned unto this session Now upon
hearing the said Appeal in the presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of saint James Clekenwell and they
consenting by their Counsel to the allowing the said appeal It is Ordered that
the said appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said Order of the said
two Justices is hereby vacated and set inside And it is further order that the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint John Southwark
do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Mary Glazbrooke and her said two
Children (together with a copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
the poor if the said parish of Saint James Clerkenwell who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Mary Glazbrooke and her said two Children will
can for themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law
