MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Monday the Sixth Day of July in the
Twenty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc .Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , John Staples< no role > , Thomas Gordon< no role > , Charles Triquet< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Tresspasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas James Banks< no role > Did at the General Quarter Session of the Peace held in
and for this County in the Month of January last Exhibit his Petition and Appeal setting forth
That He was on the Sixth day of December last Convicted before William Hyde< no role > Esqr one of His
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County in the Penalty of Twenty Pounds for uttering
vending and selling, One pair of Leather Gloves with a Stamp or Mark of less denomination
than by the Act is directed whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved which said Appeal
stood duly adjourned unto this Session Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard and the
said William Hyde< no role > Esquire being solemnly called to come forth and support the said Conviction
but not appearing nor any Person on his behalf and Proof being made upon Oath that a Copy
of the Order of Court for the hearing and determining the said appeal had been personally
served upon him It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the same is hereby Quashed
