R.B. the Church Wardens and Overseers of the

UPON the Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Hamlet of Hammer smith
in the County of Middlesex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two or his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that Thomas Chapman< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his wife & Sarah< no role > their Daughter
aged about 8 years Elizabeth their Daughter
aged about 6 Years Thomas< no role > their son aged
about three Month
did lately come to inhabit in the said Hamlet of Hammersmith
they not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning them to he settled else
Where, and that & their said Children are
Said Wife
become likely to beChargeable to the said
Hamlet of Hammer smith we the said
Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said Thomas Chapman< no role > upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises,
do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the
lawful Settlement of there the said Thomas Chapman< no role >
his wife & their said Children
is in the said Parish of Church Greyoley in the said
County of Derby we do therefore
require you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Hamlet of Hammer smith or some or
one of you, to convey the said Thomas Chapman< no role >
his Wife & their said Children
from out of your said Haught of Hammer smith
to the said Parish of Church Georgeley and them
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof. And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Church Groyeley
to receive and provide for them as Inhabited you
