To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at the
Gouldhall in king Street Westminster in the said County assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint James within the Liberty
of Westminster in the said county

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order under the
Hands and seals of Jno. Wright< no role > and James Croft< no role > Esqrs. two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
of Middlesex and City and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid
(one of them being of the Quorum) bearing date the fourth day
of February last Maram Hobbon< no role > Jane< no role > his Wife and Sarah< no role >
their Child aged near Sixteen Months were removed and conveyed
from the Parish of Saint Anne within the said Liberty of
Westminster to the said Parish of Saint James as the placed
of their last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said two
Justices and their said Order and pray that your
Worships will be pleased to appoint a Day to hear
and determine the said Appeal

And your Petitioners will ever pray etc
