WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of Mid
dlesex, (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the Church
Wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary
Whitechapel , in the said County,
That
Catharine Twates Widow of John Twates< no role >
deceased hath
lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of St. Mary White
chapel , not having gained any legal Settlement there, nor pro
duced any Certificate acknowledge her to be settled else
where, and is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish:
We, the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the
said
Catharine Twates
to be in the Parish of St John Hackney in the
County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue
of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you, on Sight
hereof, to remove and convey the said

from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel , to
the said Parish of St John Hackney
and her deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this our Or
der, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for her
