Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of Saint John at Hackney

his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the said County (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 13th day of
October 1784

Wife of
John Twaites< no role >
as the
Widow
of the said John Twaites, removed and conveyed from
the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
in the said County
to the Parish of Saint John at Hackney
as the place of
her last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners think
themselves aggrieved and appeal to this Court against the
same
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray this Court will please to appoint
a time for hearing and determining
the said appeal and that all Persons
concerned may then attend
