We the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn above the Bars in the
County of Middlesex whose names are hereto
subscribed Do hereby consent that the Recognizance
entered into by William House< no role > and his Sureties
before Joseph Girdler< no role > Esquire one of his Mejestys
Justices of the peace for the said County for the
personal appearance of the said William House< no role >
at the Session of the Peace held for the said County
in October one thousand seven hundred & eighty
three to answer the Complaint of the then Church
wardens and overseers of the Poor of the said parish
for begetting Elizabeth Kightley< no role > with Child of a female
bastard Child named Mary < no role > born in the said Parish
in or about the Month of October one thousand seven
hundred and eighty three and become chargeable
thereto may be discharged He the said William
house paving given security to indemnify the
said parish against the maintenance and
bringing up of the said bastard Child Witness
