of Thomas Pentlow< no role > for an Assault and
Imprisonment.

James Anderson< no role > of Cable Street in the Parish of Saint George in the County
of Middlesex Victualler John Hill< no role > of Ship Alley Well Close Square in the said
Parish and County Victualler and Dodding Jonathan Bruce< no role > of the new Read
in the said Parish and County Gentlemen severally maketh oath and say that
they these Deponents, James Anderson< no role > and John Hill< no role > Did become Bail
for the abovenamed Defendants Dodding Jonathan Bruce and
James Robinson< no role > in Several Recognizances for the said Defendants
Appearance in this Worshipfull Court at the Session to be held in
February Last and these Deponents James Anderson< no role > and John Hill< no role >
for themselves say that they have severally Received Letters from
Charles Eyles< no role > Exquire Deputy Clerk of the Peace for the said County the
unless these Deponents applied to this Worshipfull Court their
Several Recognizances for the appearance of the said Defendants
would be Estreated And these Deponents severally further say that
they have been Imformed and verily believes that the said Defendants
Pleaded to the said Indictment in april Session last and Traversed the
Same to the May Session then following but the said Prosecutor
Prevented the said Defendant from trying the said Indictment by
removing the same by Certiorari into his Majesty's Court of Kings
Bench which Indictment still remains untried and these Deponents
further say that they have heard and verily believe it to be true
that the said Prosecutor was in the Sitting of last Trinity Term tried
and Convicted for an assault on the said Dodding Jonathan Bruce and
for which he has not as yet received Judgements and the Deponent
Dodding Jonathan Bruce for himself saith that the said Prosecutor
in this Cause was Convicted in the said Court Kings Bench for an
Assault on this Deponent for which he the said Thomas Pentlow< no role >
has not yet received Judgment.
