To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at the Session
House for the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Church Wardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne Within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County aforesaid

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands & Seals of William
[..] & John Staples< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the
peace in & for the County of Middlesex aforesaid (One whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the third day of February Instant Mary Clay< no role >
Wife of Job Clay< no role > who hath deserted & left her & their two Children Vizt.
Sarah< no role > Aged about Twenty One Years and Ann< no role > Aged about Twelve Years
were Removed & Conveyed from & out of the Parish of Saint Leonard
Bromley in the said County to the said Parish of Saint Anne as the
place of their last Legal Settlement

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and
their said Order And Pray that the Benefit of this
Appeal may be saved to the Petitioners And that the
Hearing & Determining thereof may be Adjourned to the
next General Session of the Peace to be holden in and
for the said County of Middlesex
