General Session of the Peace at the Sessions House on Clerkenwell
said County Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint James
within the Liberty & Westminster in the said County

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order under the Hands and
Seals of S. Greene and R. Davies Esquires two of His. Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County of Middlesex
having date the Twenty third day of January last Charlottee
[..] Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from the Parish
Saint John & Wapping in the County of Middlesex aforesaid to
the said Parish of Saint James whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the
Adjudication of the said two Justices and their
said Order and pray that your worships
will be pleased to appoint a Day to hear
and determined the said Appear

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc.
