To the worshipful his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in General
Session of the Peace as the Sessions House on
Clerkenwell Green in the said County assembled

The Humble petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint John of Wapping in the
said County

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order under the hands &
Seals of Peter Greene< no role > and Robert Smith< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County of
Middlesex bearing date the twenty sixth day of January last
John Lacon< no role > with his Wife Elizabeth< no role > and their four Children
reign John< no role > Aged about six years Daniel< no role > Aged about
five years Catherine< no role > aged about two years and Elizabeth< no role >
aged about one year were removed and Conveyed from the
Stepney in the County of Middlesex aforesaid to the said
Parish of saint John of Wapping as their last legal place
of Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the
Adjudication of the said two Justices and
their said Order and pray that your
Worships will be pleased to appoint a day
of this present Session to hear and
determine the matter of the said Appeal
and that all Parties concerned may
then Attend

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc
