To the Worshipful His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex in their general Session
of the Peace assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrt.
under the Hands and Seals of William Hyde< no role > and
Thomas Ballard< no role > Esquires bearing date the 28th. day
of November now last past Elizabeth Eggerton< no role >
Wife of Richard Eggerton< no role > (gone from her) and their
Child to wit Charles< no role > aged one year and upwards
and her illegitimate Shills to wit Richard< no role > aged
three Years and upwards for
[..] were removed
from thesaid Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
[..] in the County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of St. James Westminster as the place of their last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore appeal
against the sd. Order or Pass warrant
and pray that your Worships [..]
will appoint some day in the present
Session for the Churchwns. and Overseers
of the poor of the sd. Parish of St. Martin
to appear before you to hear and abide
the Judgment and Determination of this
Court touching this Appeal.
